This year’s been a big one for Caustic- I released my Metropolis debut THE GOLDEN VAGINA OF FAME AND PROFIT, a massive remix album DOUCHE EX MACHINA, and 2 digital singles.

Well the year isn’t over yet…

As a thanks to everyone who has been supporting and grabbing all of my releases this year I wanted to show my gratitude by giving you this: JUSTIN BIEBER’S NEVER SAY NEVER, an 11 track album featuring remixes from FGFC820, Ambassador21, Cryogen Second, Surgyn, Null Device, and more. Free Cubanate Cover!

In the spirit of the U.S. and the U.K. finally burying the hatchet this 4th of July Caustic and Be My Enemy are releasing their collaboration of CUBANATE’s classic stomper Oxyacetylene!

(Okay, it’s just coincidental it’s coming out now. The U.S. and U.K. still hate each other.)

This track was originally performed at Sheffield’s RESISTANZ FESTIVAL in April, with Cubanate/Be My Enemy‘s PHIL BARRY surprising the crowd and performing with Caustic. Needless to say the response was huge so we put together an “official” version of the cover as a FREE DOWNLOAD for everyone, with Caustic’s live bassist at that gig Keef Baker contributing his parts as well!

Caustic signs to METROPOLIS RECORDS and L-TRACKS MUSIC!

Attractive people of the internet,

The last few months at Caustic HQ (aka “my house”) have been pretty amazing. I finally got the news that the new CD THE GOLDEN VAGINA OF FAME AND PROFIT was picked up by the legendary U.S. label METROPOLIS RECORDS (home of everyone from Assemblage 23 to KMFDM to Combichrist and Meat Beat Manifesto, amongst tons of others) AND I can finally announce that Caustic will ALSO be released in EUROPE by L-TRACKS MUSIC (most known as home of FADERHEAD).

This is bittersweet of course, as that means I will no longer be releasing Caustic on CRUNCH POD. Ben Arp has known about this possible transition since the first minute and has been nothing but understanding and supportive, but I’d like to take a second and thank Ben and the Crunch Pod family (and we are a family– a really dysfunctional one, but that’s why we party so well together) for all the help and dedication that Crunch Pod has given Caustic. I say in no way lightly that without Ben and Crunch Pod Caustic wouldn’t have had anywhere near the opportunities it has received.

KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN STARTS TUES, OCT 19TH!

To finance the release of the new Caustic CD THE GOLDEN VAGINA OF FAME AND PROFIT Caustic is going to hold a pledge drive to raise the $2,500 necessary to bring The Golden Vagina to The People. www.kickstarter.com is a website for artists to get their projects funded and what project needs more funding than a Caustic CD? Answer: NONE.

Tons of fun pledge offers, from signed copies of the CDs, exclusive posters, and actually sponsoring the tracks themselves (with full credit given, of course.)

FINAL SHOW OF THE YEAR!!!!

We’re recording the SECOND PART of the Caustic live DVD on October 23rd here in Madison at INFERNO NIGHTCLUB. We’re playing with SENSUOUS ENEMY (who are having a release party for their new PARITY EP) and THE LIGHT ASYLUM opening up. $5. 21 and up. Caustic’s up 2nd.

The reason it’s the 2nd part is that we ended up doing a massively abbreviated (yet mega-fun) set at Kinetik and I think it’d be stupid releasing like a 24 fuckin’ minute live DVD. We’re punk in some ways, but that would still be lame as hell.
